All <br />. . <br /> approved. <br /> 7:30—Geoff Willis—65 Hoopole Road <br /> Geoff Willis introduced himself to the Board as the owner of 2.17 acres of the property <br /> located at 65 Hoopole Toad. Mr. Willi.s was asking for reconsideration of the BOH <br /> ,decision of 11/17/05 regarding an irrigation well on his property. <br /> Glen Harington commented that in November, 2005 the request for an irrigation well on <br /> this property was denied by the BOH, based,on the fact that the-property was in an area <br /> of known anticipated contamination. Mr. Willis stated.that he is selling the property, and <br /> is merely inquiring for the new property owners as to whether an irrigation well could be <br /> approved. <br /> Lucy Burton made a motion to approve reconsideration of the BOH decision of 11117/07 <br /> regarding approval of an irrigation well at 5 Hoopole Road, with.the following <br /> stipulations: (1) annual C testing; 2 putting the inspection requirement on the <br /> registry of deeds; if any inspections identify contamination problems above the <br /> drinking water standard, the well would be shut off. Glenn Santos seconded the motion. <br /> All approved. <br /> 5 <br /> i Horsley&Witten Group—342 Iain Sbeef 40B Application <br /> Joe Henderson, representing Horsley&Witten Group,, introduced himself to the Board. <br /> He stated that Horsley Men is submitting a variance request from the following <br /> regulation: Part IX Section 5.00—commercial'septic systems of the Town of Mashpee <br /> BOH regulations require the.reserve leaching trenches to be installed at the.time of the <br /> installation of the primary leaching trenches. Mr. Henderson stated that the proposed <br /> Singulair wastewater treatment system will produce an effluent,quality significantly better <br /> than that of a Title V septic system. The'cleaner effluent will increase the life of the <br /> leaching system along with reducing the likelihood of a failed system. <br /> Glen Harrington commented that this is a-condorniniurn, not a shared system. He <br /> reviewed the floor plans submitted and had the following comments: case openings <br /> need to be revised; the pump basin is just a smai12' tall diameter plastic stacked on <br /> plastic rings located within the cul de sac, and is subject to vehicle loading. Glen. <br /> Harrington recommended H2O loading, not plastic.
