Also, P. 3, 1. line 2: Change "Masbpee Arts' ouncil"to Ma hpee Cultural .Council. Minutes were accepted with. corrections. III REPORTS: A Survey of Historical Records: The -historical commission had received from Mass. Historical Records Advisory Board, a 1996 Survey of Historical Records Repositories to be completed. Jim Moroney reviewed this survey with the commissioners page -by page, item by items in order to complete it. B. Computer: An Whitlow presented her update on the future-purchase of a � p computer, Ann stated that. she had been unable to get together with Dr. DeMoura since he was. not available at this time,-' Ann had- discussed these negotiations with Jeanne, and it was agreed that if Dr., DeMoura's plan does not- materialize, the- H. C. would go ahead and purchase the mut er. Ann had discussed this matter with Mr, Whritenour. Mr. Whritenour ex- plained lained that the -town had hired a new network aciministr-ator, Stephen Russ. Mr, Whritenonr has a sur d Ann that the H. C. will. hook p with the town. We will, therefore, have access to the general software, Ann added that she has discovered. a company through which the H. C, . can - perhaps receive free Internet• service, will be meeting with the various town departments to -determine Buss g I�ir,. - their needs. The H. C. wants to' have the capability -to be in •sync with the town.
