Cemetery: Joe Connolly reported that he had been searching and re- searching, trying to gather information that would give a clear idea of where we warted to go with trying to persuade the town to take over some of the cemeteries that have been neglected, particularly those that we have no idea wh'o the owners are. During, the research, he had discovered that one of the cemeteries that we have been researching had already been taken over by the town* We have the information; the deed is in the assessor's office, and Denise will eventually get a copy of the deed to us. That is Cemetery #4 on our master list, the heirs of Phoebe Pocknett on Great Neck Road South, rear Punk.horn Point. Another cemetery, #10, the Jones Burial Ground on South Sandwich Road, Corner of S. Sandwich and Dain Street was deeded to the Torn in 1989. It is shown on the assessor's records as a cranberry bog.
