Card she had <br /> been working on . <br /> IV NEW BUSINESS : <br /> A# Ros-emary explained that they had received a letter inquiring <br /> about information relative to the Beebe f-amily. We had no <br /> information on t-he Beebe family . It was suggested, they con- <br /> tact the Falmouth Historical Commission. <br /> Be R. Burls referred to a letter addressed to Mr. Whritenour <br /> from the Director of the Office of Historic Resources <br /> This letter was in response to the H. O. ' s request for <br /> a grant for monl.es to inventory and to restore three his- <br /> toric burial grounds in Mashpee . In a letter of September <br /> 2 , 1998 , Patrice - Kish stated that- she regretted to inform <br /> that Mashpee'-s proposal to inventory three historic grounds <br /> was not among the projects selected to receive grants this <br /> year., They will have another grant application opportunity <br /> in the spring of 1999 , and she urged the H. C. to submit a <br /> proposal for this and any other valuable historical land- <br /> scape preservation projects at that time. <br />
