Because of the Open Meeting Laws , the v ,rious <br /> boards and committees are given 48 hours to convene a meeting . <br /> Ann had previously advised all of the commissioners relative <br /> to the planned meeting, and she had spoken to ?deg Santos ' in <br /> the Town Clerk' s office, however , the- scheduled meeting was '. <br /> not Listed in the paper,, nor' was it listed on the Government <br /> Channel . Therefore, Ann had to prepare a letter for the Town <br /> Clerk for an emergency meeting with 24 hour notice. <br /> III BUDGET : <br /> s <br /> Ann advised that for the year 2000, the H, C. had been <br /> slated to have four meetings , quarterly meetings . However , <br /> Ann decided that quarterly peetings would not be adequate <br /> for this year . Ann feels they will meed f ive or six meet- <br /> ings with all of the issues that would meed to be dealt with. <br /> Marilyn Farren advised that it would be within their budget <br /> to have the extra meetings and the change has been accepted <br /> by personnel . <br /> Ann reviewed the FY 2000 Budget with the meeting .
