III BUDGET : Discussion of Historical Commission budgets Ann advised that they would have ak $7 , 400 bud get which will include $2 ,, 000 f o r salary for their temporary wage employee. Iv REPORTS ; A. South Ma-shpee School : 11 Restoration : Ann explained that restoration has begin on th-e South Ma tepee School . She and Rosemary have been there. The floor has been removed and the damage to the Kearns hay-s been- assessed .. They will be shored up . Axon believes the contrctor has been doing a very meticu- lous job . He mopes to have, the work completed within a year from the starting d ante& Mr , Pritchard plans to take photographs of the building as the restoration proceeds . 2 . Public Relations ; Ann e .plained that she is about to embark upon a public relations tour to make the to n - peo-pl a aware of the building . Ann intends to make a presentation before all of the clubs in town. Ann explained that the Ma tepee Women ' s Club had submitted a grant application to the Willow Bend Children' s Charity requesting $30, 000 toward the restoration project . PHOTOGRAPHS 1 , Photograph Locators : .Jim has examined all of their photographs and came up with an alphabetical locator system. In the future,) he will explain how to access it and use it . Ann explained that the still had the books f photos p y for public use. This way , it will protect their photos . 2 . Events documentation : Relative to events , when Marie left , that was the only portion of their photographs that had not been documented . Ann- has assigned that task. to Phyllis -D loin.
