GRAY <br /> F, HICK <br /> R, LYNCH <br /> Ao WHITLOW <br /> II MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING. <br /> The minutes of the January 17, 1995 meeting were accepted <br /> as presented. <br /> III- REPORTS <br /> A. [update on 125th Anniversary: The Calendar of Events 1995 <br /> was passed around to the meeting, <br /> Ann Whitlow reported on the pictorial on which she and <br /> R. Burns had been working. The book has gone out for <br /> sealed bids . (The reason the printing went out to bid <br /> was the cost was over $10, 000. ) On March 1, 1995, the- <br /> bids will be opened. They will be presented before the <br /> selectmen on March 6. 1995. Joanne, Rosemary and Ann <br /> Whitlow will make the decision on that March list opening. <br /> They have come to agreement on the cover* The corer they <br /> have decided to use was the submission by the second in- <br /> ner of the logo contest. It is an art piece by Debra <br /> Bandy, a local artist, a native of Mashpee. The cover will <br /> say, NA HPEE A REMEMBRANCE - 1 - 1995. The art work <br /> represents the old and the new; the oldest church, the <br /> newest church, the herring run, South Cape Beach, the <br /> museum, the sanctuary. <br /> A grant was written through the historical commission to <br /> Willow Bend's Children' s Charity to receive some grant <br /> moneys. The historical commission will be soliciting <br /> donations as well to try to cover the $10,000. <br /> Joanne reported that the historical commission has had <br /> a rellr good reception* It has been a little chaotic in <br /> the Archives. <br /> Joanne went over the Calendar of Events with the meeting. <br /> The first big event will be the Mashpee Follies, March 24, <br /> 25, 26th. The tickets will be $5. 00, Saturday night at <br /> 8 :00 P, m. and Sunday afternoon. <br />
