Chairman Lee Gurney presided. <br /> Con='ssioners Present;. Rosemary Burns Lee Gumey, Paula Peters, Gail Slattery, and Joseph <br /> Slattery. <br /> Commissioners Absent: Sunny Merritt <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on August 5, 2005 were approved as read. <br /> Reports: <br /> • <br /> Budget status—about % used. <br /> Paula Peters reported that she <br /> � Connuiuty Preservation Act Cxnnue representative, � <br /> has attended two meetings. The initial meeting was to select a chairmen— Wayne Taylor <br /> was selected. The second meeting was to look over the application forms used by several <br /> towns. The Plymouth application looped simple ixutially but after discussion, it was <br /> determined that it left several areas uncovered. Falmouth/Sudbury forms were almost the <br /> same. Paula Peters was selected to be on a sub-committee to review forms of other <br /> toms. Time tables were discussed. The process, in its entirety, will probably tale a year <br /> or more before it can come before a town meeting. Paula Peters suggested that the MEC <br /> be available to support interested parties relative to the CPC. <br /> • Lee �xume attended a Massachusetts husett storical meeting on August 18'h. Chris Shelly <br /> presented a State plan draft that was mostly a"wish list"instead of an outcome based <br /> plan. A discussion on Neighborhood Conservation District verses Historical District was <br /> reviewed, the NCIH is new and-less strong than the HD. <br /> Member projects: <br /> Gail Slattery did a collage on schools to place in Post Office—she is looping for ideas for <br /> future displays. <br /> • Joe Slattery is continuing to tale pictures of the Meetinghouse,construction <br /> Old Business: <br /> 0 2005 Work plan (male copies for next meeting so members can assess what can and <br /> cannot be done by 12131/05 and begin thinking about next years plan.) <br /> 0 Meets slates for 2005-2006—the next meeting will b Tuesday, October 251h 10:00 ani <br /> Meeting g <br />
