r= <br /> ' g <br /> Minutes of the Meetm <br /> Mashpee Housing Authority <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> September 10, 1998 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson at 5:40 p.m. and a quorum <br /> declared with the following members present: Caren A. Rudd, Marie Younger, and E. <br /> Stuart Peoples. Others in attendance 'included: Leila Botsford, Executive Director; <br /> Thomas J. Joy} ,Jr., Fee Accountant, and Cheryl Burke and Lois Barthel, Tenant <br /> Association representatives. Excused: Constance Mills and Lorraine Finton. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for regular meeting held on August 13t 1998 were presented. Motion was <br /> made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Younger to accept the minutes as <br /> presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT. <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: These were presented to the Board for review, as well <br /> as the written treasurers report. Mrs. Botsford reported that the accountant reported <br /> no extraordinary expenses and that the report reflects the first month of our fiscal year <br /> end 1999. <br /> Accounts Payables: Payables totaling $13,968.20 were presented to the Board for <br /> review, approval rid signatures. <br /> Pent Delinquencies: Mrs. Botsford reported that there were no rent delinquencies at <br /> the Horneyer pillage complex. One of the 705 tenants was delinquent and Mrs. <br /> Botsford has a private conference with the individual next week. A motion was made <br /> by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Younger to accept the secretary's report as <br /> presented. The notion was adopted. <br /> Ms. Judd suggested that it would be a good time to address the FY 1999 Budget with <br /> Mr. Joy, so that he could be excused for the evening. r <br /> Mr_ Joy presented the budgets and explained that the DHCD has approved a % <br /> increase on the non-utility expense level. After a detailed review of the budget and a <br /> short discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Younger <br /> to approve and submit to DHCD the budgets as presented. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE: <br />
