Old Barnstable Road 70 : Mrs. Botsford reported that the Breezy Acres sign has been <br /> delivered and should be installed within the next few days. She stated that exterior <br /> landscaping improvements are corning along nicely. The wooded area has been thinned a <br /> little, dead trees have been cut down and mulch spread. Some new fencing has been installed <br /> and will soon be painted. She reported that the new grass is corning in very nicely and that <br /> copy of the new policy regarding yard care was distributed to all residents. In September and <br /> October, bulbs will be planted for spring flowers. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that we have 2 AHVP vouchers, 23 M V P Mobile, 28 Protect Based <br /> Vouchers, 18 Section 8 Certificates, and 9 Section 8 Vouchers leased in 1 ashpee. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that letters have been sera to all See. 8 voucher holders informing <br /> them of the change in payment standard effective October 1. The letter explained their right <br /> to submit current income verification for a rent adjustment. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that this coring month she will be attending the Leo Tower Seminar <br /> and the Section 8 Administrators Association training for the new Section 8 Housing Choice <br /> Voucher Program. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> New TAP p li t1 n: Mrs. Botsford reported that, with regards to the TAP application that <br /> she submitted, Ed Allard of the Cape Cod Commission called and requested a personal <br /> interview which she had with him last week. The Commission expects to be awarding the <br /> TAP grants sometime in late October or early November. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Pat GraceContribution: Mrs. Botsford stated that she had received a memorandum from the <br /> DHCD pilot attorney, Pat Grace, requesting an annual contribution to the program to support <br /> her expenses and casts. A motion was made by Vis. Pinton and seconded by IVIS. Orlando <br /> to make a donation in the amount of$225.00 to Pat Grace's legal program. The motion <br /> carried. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: No other business was presented. <br /> COMMUNICATION So BSPONDENC , <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that, besides Ms. Grace's Memorandum, the only correspondence of <br /> mention she had received was a letter from T CT responding to her request for an increase <br /> in the contract rents for the Project Based MRVPs. DHCD responded that, although there <br /> were excellent reasons to warrant an increase, the request could not be granted at this tirne. <br /> The letter indicated that the F 2000 budget may have sufficient capacity to offer increases <br /> and, if so, we would be notified. <br /> Next meeting will be held Thursday, October 14, 1999 at 5:30 PM. <br /> motion was made by his. Finton and seconded by Ms. Orlando to adjourn. The motion <br /> carved. <br />
