a + <br /> r <br /> Minutes of the Meeting <br /> MASHPEE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> December 9, 199 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Vice-chairperson at :32p.m. and a quorum declared <br /> with the following members present: Lom" Proton, Gina Orlando, E. Stuart Peoples, and <br /> Laverne Williams. Marie Younger was absent. Also in attendance was Leila Botsford, <br /> Executive Director. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT; <br /> Minutes for regular meeting held on November 11, 1999 were presented. Motion was made <br /> by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms.Williams to accept the minutes as presented. The <br /> notion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative The Budget to Actual Report was presented to the Board, <br /> which represented the fifth month of the Fiscal Year. firs. Botsford stated that all line-items <br /> were within budget. IIs. Botsford stated that the fee accountant was still using last year's <br /> budget figures because this year's budget had not yet been mailed back. lis. Botsford stated <br /> that this afternoon she had spoken to Mr. Gannon at DHCD and he stated that the budget <br /> had just been approved. <br /> Accounts 1�„l: Payables totaling$7',592.22 were presented to the Board for review, <br /> approval and signatures. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: firs. Botsford reported that there were no rent delinquencies at the 667 <br /> development but there was one at the 705. The tenants have been sent a notice to cone in for <br /> a fonna.l conference to discuss the delinquency. A Motion was made by Mir. Peoples and <br /> seconded by Ms. Orlando to accept the Secretary's report as presented. The notion was <br /> adopted. <br /> PORAL UPDATE: <br /> omp er Villas..(66&.- Mrs. Botsford repeated that this past month, in addition to Bingo, <br /> there was a speaker from Secure Horizons who carne to talk to residents about their program. <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated that she and the residents are now planning the holiday Ply for next <br /> Monday, December 13. firs. Botsford reported that DHCD conducted inspections on <br /> randomly selected units on November 30 and all vent well, with a few minor repairs <br /> that were brought to our attention. <br /> Old. Barnstable Road „ „ Mrs. Botsford reported that she delivered the Resident <br /> Handbook to all residents at Breezy Acres. <br /> Mrs. Botsford also reported that she. 's hosting a Pat Grace legal seminar next Monday <br /> on Tenant Selection rules & regulations, <br />
