Minutes o the Meeting <br /> MASHPEE MOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> May 11, 2000 <br /> The meeting wds called to order by the chairperson at :32p.m. and a quorum declared <br /> with the following members present: Lorri Proton, E. Stuart Peoples, Gina Orlando and <br /> Laverne Williams, Also in attendance was Leila Botsford, Executive Director, Cheryl <br /> Burke, Lois Barthel, and Richard Berry, residents of Homeyer village. <br /> ELECTION of OFFICERS: <br /> Aro ion was rade by MIs. Orlando and seconded by Ms. Williams to <br /> postpone the election of officers until the next regular board meeting. The <br /> notion was adopted, <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes tes for regular meeting held on April 1 , 2000 were presented. Motion was <br /> made by Ms. Williams and seconded by Ms. Orlando to accept the minutes as <br /> presented. The notion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPOR`r* <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: The Budget to Actual report, prepared by the fee- <br /> accountant, was presented to the Board, which represented the tenth month of the <br /> fiscal year. Mrs* Botsford reported that all line-sterns were within budget. Mfrs. <br /> Botsford gave a written treasurer's report as well as a written Executive Director's <br /> report on the month's activities, <br /> Accounts Pa ables Payables totaling $11,192.11 were presented to the hoard for <br /> review, approval and signatures. <br /> Rent De jbgu ncies F yrs* Botsford stated that all rents at both developments have <br /> been paid in full. A Motion was made by Ms. Orlando and seconded by Ms. <br /> Williams to accept the secretary's report as presented,, The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE. <br /> Heer village. . Mrs. Botsford reported that there was Bingo this past month, <br /> as usual. Mrs. Botsford reported that she conducted all of the annual inspections. Mrs. <br /> Botsford reported that the housing authority has received, with no cost to the housing <br /> authority, fifteen 1 brand-neer refrigerators through the State of Massachusetts' <br /> Energy Program for Horneyer village residents. All the refrigerators are self-defrosting, <br /> and energy-efficient. hers. Botsford reported that all common area improvements were <br /> done,, with regards to unproved non-florescent fighting and new carpeting, per the <br />
