�x <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Minutes of the Meeting <br /> I <br /> MASHPEE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Board of Commissioners ' <br /> March 8, 2001 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the chairperson at 5,32 p.m. and a quorum <br /> declared with the following members present! E. Stuart Peoples, Mary Lin ins, Lord <br /> Fenton, and Laverne Williams. Also in attendance was Leila Botsford, Executive Director. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT. <br /> Minutes for regular meeting held on February 8. 2001 were presented. Motion was <br /> made by FIs. Lebens and seconded by Nis. Williams to accept the minutes as <br /> presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budciet to Actual and Narrative: Mrs. Botsford provided the board the Budget to Actual <br /> Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represented the eighth month of the. <br /> fiscal year. Mrs. Botsford pointed out that all expenditures were within budget, Mrs. <br /> Botsford stated that she was unable to provide written reports regarding bank balances <br /> because the bank statements had not yet come in. <br /> Aournt PayablePayables totaling $8,,189.47 were presented to the Board for <br /> review, approval and signatures. <br /> Rent Dern encies. Mrs, Botsford stated that all rents are paid in full at both Homeyer <br /> Village and at Breezy Acres. A Motion was made by Ms. Williams and seconded <br /> by Ms. Li ins to accept the Secretary"s report as presented, The notion was <br /> adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE: <br /> Home er Village (667): Mrs. Botsford reported that this past month there was Bingo, <br /> as usual. hers. Botsford reported that a member of the Osterville Historical Society <br /> come came in and did a slide show and presentation on art & architecture in Boston, <br /> Newport and New York. hers. Botsford reported that annual inspections will be done <br /> later in the month and that she is still working on getting the computer station up and <br /> running, <br /> Breezv Acres (705): Mrs, Botsford reported that attorney Pat Grace continues to work <br /> with her on the eviction of one resident at Breezy Acres. This case has been very time <br /> consuming as there are many issues to deal with and the resident has been very <br /> difficult to deal with. currently the case is scheduled for a grievance hearing with our <br /> grievance officer. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
