After running into multiply`•road-blocks"over the past <br /> seven gears, it is very fulfilling to finally see the stark of construction for our Asher's Path Senior Housing <br /> project, the housing authority's first development in 16 years. I look forward to the next couple of years <br /> as I train for and learn this new program (the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program . I am <br /> committed to continuing to try to further develop our Breezy Acres site and to try to start up new <br /> programs through CPA (Community Preservation Act) funding. It is my hope that the town will see the <br /> great value in our proposed programs and fund each of them. <br /> I see a lot of positive things happening at the Mashpee Housing Authority and I arra proud of what we've <br /> been able to accomplish, especially during such ars economically depressed and extremely confined <br /> budget period. <br /> It looks like DHCD has started to make improvements to their policies and budget spending is expected to <br /> increase this year.
