Gate Attendent. <br /> Meeting commenced at 7 :00 P,Me <br /> Lotions to accept the minutes of the TJ.�3, 1997 meeting was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Discussed progress of water- level study. Chair spoke with Bob Sherman <br /> about Lake study and was told it is in a holding pattern but should <br /> move forward in a week or two. <br /> Perry Ellis told us signs are being made for boat ramp. <br /> Reviewed, the revised waterways handout with gate attendent informing <br /> him of the necessity to enforce the public access laws. , we discussed <br /> the new boat sign-in sheet, and instructed hien to hand out pamphlets <br /> to all who enter pond. <br /> Discussion on how the Lake Management Committee could assist Gate <br /> Attendent and Harbormaster with assistance and enforcement during the <br /> busy summer months . It was suggested from Mrs. Mills that it would <br /> e helpful and make sense if the two L. .C, members who live on the <br /> pond be appointed as assistants to the Harbormaster. All present <br /> agreed. A letter will be sent to the Harbormaster requesting the <br /> appointments be approved by Selectmen. <br /> Open discussion took place regarding the on going high water level <br /> at, the Lake and the frustration the residents are experiencing. The <br /> topic of cleaning out the damsite of sediment was discussed. The <br /> concerns of the residents down river were discussed* It was agreed <br /> that a working partnership could be obtainable with the completion <br /> of the water level study. It was clear that the animosity between <br /> the river residents and pond residents could be worked out. <br /> Meeting adjourned 8: 30 P..Me <br /> PF4 <br />
