Motion was unanimously passed. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Bill Marsters ters reported that the lake water level was quite low, with little or no rainfall in some time. <br /> The herring run is thick with the herring. <br /> On 10/29/01 k hili Marsters, Bill Taylor, and Hans Fdtschi met with Joyce Mason and Jim Hanks to <br /> discuss agenda for a future meeting with Col. Murray and berry Ellis. High on the list of important <br /> issues at this meeting is promotion of additional funding for improvement of the enforcement of <br /> rules and regulations for safety/security on the Lake, as well as addition of more signs at the <br /> ramp area. No meeting date has yet been announced by Joyce Mason for this meeting with Col. <br /> Murray. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Chairman Marsters opened discussion about plans for the next Newsletter. The general <br /> concensus of the committee was that we use the same corer, changing only the date(summer <br /> 2002)and the Vol. (Vol. 11). <br /> Suggested articles to be included in the Newsletter <br /> - Water Quality of the Lake—stege Cadrin <br /> - historic information about the Lake--Bili Taylor <br /> - Update on efforts at the Mate level to improve in cease security, signs, etc, —Chill <br /> Marsters <br /> - Update on current rules and regulations for the Lake—Hans Fritschi <br /> The Committee agreed that it would be advisable to add an addWonal member to the Committee, <br /> as well as an alternate for George Hingham, in his temporary absence, to represent the Tribal <br /> Counsel. bans Fritschi agreed to contact Chan Spurling, who owns the property above the •'` <br /> sluiceway and who is a year-round resident, to discuss his possible interest in searing on the <br />
