<br /> Discussion, 4-5 PCW(personal watercraft) continue to race about wantonly after 7 pm. Barbara Nichols
<br /> spoke with Perry Ellis,Harbormaster, who stated he had manpower to patrol only one night a week. He
<br /> suggested calling Maine Environmental Police for assistance. In a second phone call,Mr. Ellis,
<br /> mentioned that he would welcome volunteer assistance on the Lade, and Mr. Harris expressed interest in
<br /> speaking with Mr. Ellis about this. Mr. Ellis reported he had issued tickets to 3 jet skiers.
<br /> Mrs. Nichols also spoke with Larry Chenir, a State warden,(617-727-8760)who suggested calling Major
<br /> Kathleen Dolan, Coastal Area Manager at 508-224-2264, and Lt. Concannon, the district officer who
<br /> covers this lake. He is reached through the radio dispatch office at 1800-632-8075 for enforcement
<br /> requests. The Environmental Police are also short of manpower.
<br /> Conclusions- More assistance is required to control this problem.
<br /> Action items: Barbara Nichols will monitor the late after 7
<br /> pm, and continue to request assistance in ticketing violators.
