[Agenda topic ]Newsletter
Discussion: Barbara wrote an article for the newsletter, comparing lashpee pond dissolved 02 and
temperature data from July 04 and 08. Bd supplied a copy of the newsletter thus far and two more pages
are needed. George Bingham has yet to submit his article on contacting the Harbormaster through the
Police Dept. Don Myers felt that preventing road run-off should be mentioned in the newsletter. we
noted that buffer zone unportance was already stressed in the newsletter.
Mimi Joseph suggested boating rules, especially no wake near kayaks and right of way for non motorized
boats should be stressed in our spring newsletter. State boating rules would apply.
Conclusions: Two more pages are needed to complete the newsletter.
[Agenda to'pie ] Lowell Holly R rv.
Discussion: Barbara emailed Mike Labosslere letting him know that areas behind the beaches were again
being used as open latrine areas, and needed to be cleaned up... Barbara checked out the area today and
noted some areas of paper in the woods. The one porta-potty is in place in the parking area, but it is too
far from the Mashpe Fond beach area. It serves the wakeby beach fine. A guest asked 1f the porta pots
could be moved closer to the beach area., but Barbara felt it would not be possible unless road work was
done. Barbara will contact Mike and see if the area had been cleaned up, and if there were any plans for
that area.
Conclusions: The Porta-potty at the parking lot serves the wa.keby beach area, but is too far from the
beach area.of Mashpee Pond where boaters land.
[Agenda topic New or'servation land former
St. Vincent prrt y)
Discussion.
