Barbara exchanged several a ails with Drew w McManus in <br /> Conservation about having DPW clean the sand out of the area between the jetties and the fish-way. <br /> Drew spoke with Perry Ellis about past clean-outs, and finally axrangements were made to have DP's clean <br /> out the area in a `couple of weeks" written Aug 2 ' . <br /> Barbara spoke with Perm Ellis on Sept 19'h, and shared the nn'nu'ttee's concerns about after hour jet skiers <br /> and -� , <br /> excessive speed after dark by Plymouth Rock bass tournament participants on August 16'h. P stated <br /> he would stress speed lints or.the pennit application next spring. Peffy also noted that 'et skiers must carry <br /> registration, and the numbers must be displayed on both sides of the jet ski, although he mentioned he has <br /> advised some owners to move the numbers higher, as they were notvisible under water. <br /> The"INTO WAKE sign i now incorporated on the bottom of another sign near the boat ramp. The $50 fine is <br /> still applicable. <br /> Conclusions: The lake remains around 55.3 feet above sea level. DPW will clean out the darn area. <br /> [ epi atopic ll Ho 11 R r : <br /> Discussion: Barbara hiked around Lowell Holly Reservation recently and found that the beach areas had been <br /> mostly cleaned up, and the porta-potty removed for the meter. Perry Ellis mentioned on Sept. 19 to Barbara <br /> that a large number o jet skiers are being ferried up to Dowell Holly to spend the day, and may be <br /> contributing to the open latrine problem. <br /> Conclusions: Barbara will contact Mike Labossiere. <br />
