In a follow-up
with Drew McManus of Conservation, Barbara ara repor ed that-1 o of.sand had been removed from the darn
area by DPS'.at Drew's request on about March 25th-1 r.McManus invited Barbara to a meeting at the
dans area with Ed Clark of Marine Fisheries on March 30-,which which Barbara attended. Mr. Clark was hap. . ,
with the current water flow and recommended no charge in the boards at the dam by the late. Thus, the
board removed in November remains out for noir. Clary and fir. McManus did add one 2 X 6 to the
flume on the south-side of Rt. 130 to alleviate some air pockets forming over the lower boards. It was
noted that herring were making the trip up the river.
Conclusions:-The lake level is up with recent heavy rain. The 2 X6 removed in November er remains out.
[A -da j jC-2]gen oppnpg'
r
f iscussiow.George submitted an article on boating and Barbara suggested revisions so the article would
mesh better with our other boating article by Hans. . d Baker was absent due to illness and his helpwith
the newsletter will be sorely missed and may delay our getting the newsletter out.
