Barbara found an article to include on"Yellow Floating Heart," and also suggested an <br /> article on the water quality testing results for 2010 on phosphorus levels in both ponds. Barbara visited <br /> Dowell Holly, and suggested an update on the Trustees recent projects of new stairway to wakeby pond to <br /> correct erosion, and a new kiosk showing trail reaps in the area. A porta potty was present in the parking <br /> area, but facilities are still needed in the farther beach area. '4 <br /> Discussion: we continue to have problems on the lake with after-hogs jet skiing, as well as other <br /> in fractions. Barbara relayed the idea of getting the Mass. boating laws in Portuguese for the Brazilians <br /> who use the lake. Lt. Read felt it was a good idea, but did not knowa traslatdr. Heidi in Recreation also <br /> did not have a suggestion to accomplish this. Debi suggested the attendants speak to jet skiers on arrival <br /> at the launch area, reminding there of rules verbally. Mimi Joseph, a guest{, wrote letters to both the CCS' <br /> and Enterprise,telling of her problems with fast boat wakes and shoreline erosion. <br /> Conclusion: More enforcement is needed. Boating rul s,in other languages might•help. <br /> [Agendn' tople ] Weeds i Birch Cove <br /> Discussion: Sue S urling had contacted Barbara regarding a report by Peter Fetracca on possible inyastive <br /> weeds in the Birch Cove beach area.. Barbara suggested calling brew in Conservation,but e-referred her' - <br /> to Rick York. Peter mentioned collecting a sale weed, but.that has.not occurred.
