Nichols <br /> 4 <br /> 1 ttende : :} Members: William Taylor, Barbara Nichols, Debi McManus, Andrew Gottlieb <br /> Guests. <br /> The minutes of the January 24, 2012 meeting were accepted as ritten, after a motion by George and <br /> second by Andrew. <br /> Agenda-t ies <br /> =t:' v11 <br /> [, end + ie 1Lake level <br /> Discussion: Barbara measured the lake levels on Feb. I"and 15th. The levels were at 55.6 and 55.5 ft. <br /> above sea level with 15.5 and 14.75 inches of water flaring over the board closest to the lake. <br /> The levels were sent to Drew McManus ire Conservation. <br /> Andrew spoke with Linelle Grundman, a Selectman for the Town of Sandwich, and she said there were no <br /> plans for the town to build anything on the wakby shore above the high water nark. We discussed this <br /> at our last meeting, after being contacted by an engineer doing work for the town of Sandwich. He was <br /> researching the high water levels in the lake. <br /> Conclusions: The water level remains stable. No plans by the Town of Sandwich to build above the high <br /> water level were identified. <br /> jAgenda topic 21 Weed Identification <br /> Discussion: Andrew attempted to collect a weed sample to send to Jim Straub for identification, but was <br /> unable to find any. Apparently, the weed dies back in the winter. <br /> Conclusions: A-ndrew will try again to collect a specimen in May or June and we will send a picture to Jinn <br /> Straub. <br />
