Aci topic Hours-of PCV Operation
Discussion: Barbara and Debi noticed new signs at the State Boat Launch changing the hours of operation
for PCW's to sunrise to sunset. They previously had to be off the lake by 7 PM or sunset, whichever is
sooner. Barbara emailed Lt Read, Harbortnaster and the environmental Police. No one acknowledged
knowing who put the new signs up, so Barbara emailed a picture ofthe new sign and Lt. Burns of the
Environmental Police wrote back that Public Access put up the signs. He included a contact phone
number and also.mentioned that I ashpee's EPO officer is now Lt. Bean Belanger. Committee members
are displeased with the increased hours for PCW use, and want further information.
Conclusions: Public Access has increased the hours of PCW operation on the lake.
[Agenda topic}4 May 1 : 'Bass To rnaffient
to
.--,.. .--.-:.:-,.tcz-=. s-..i_ .-...=y:•:=.f— :_..._T-_21F_ _Y-- ..-- ---.. --.. a.-=z_r :f: .:. - - 4 - - --.--. .--.z=. ..--_-
Discussion: Barbara emailed Mr. Mone, the Harbormaster, and informed him of our concern with the
early fishermen on May 19th. He replied that bis assistant was at the lake at 630 PILI, and the listed
tournament did not leave until 8 AM. He believed that the early fishermen were not part of the scheduled
group, and therefore could not be stopped from leaving early.
Conclusions: The early fishermen were not part of an organized tournament.
i
[Agenda topic 51 Racing Boats Su' nday s
:.:
June' 24,2012:
v.-..-_ .._. :R--
Discussion:
-.fiscussion: Debi and Barbara discussed three very loud inboard racing boats that were on the lake last
Sunday. They were white, yellow and brown and besides having very loud exhausts that are a nuisance,
the drivers were racing each other from one end of the lake to the other.leo one saw a harbormaster on the
lake Sunday. These boats were a danger to other boaters. We encouraged members to call the Police Dept.
if this behavior is noted again.
L.conclusions: Several inboard loud racing boats are a concern. Barbara will speak with the Harbornnaster.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:14 P.K
Respectfully submitted,
0100
Barbara B. Nichols
