ToIce Mason suggests we can get through <br /> the first phase and be. ready with our existing funds to move forward. <br /> Fmu"t for Proposal <br /> Ms. Mason says the 9FIP loorcs. good with some minor changes. The nexfi move <br /> is the send it to the Central Register. The Town Counsel has accepted this <br /> format as well. The Library 5oard discusses some minor details with Ms. Mason <br /> regarding dates, etc. <br /> Mr. 5urfion 'snforms the library Trustees of the procoss the Sui[ding Committee <br /> is going through with the Town to have this new library built. <br /> A discussion of gifts as contributions to the library Grund is addressed. All <br /> monetary gifts during the construction phase must go through the town account. <br /> The mush be represented properlj. <br /> The 5oard of Selectmen has assigned Mr. Ken Marstecs as the new liaison for <br /> the Mashpee Library Expansion Committee. He will be replacing Mr. Wayne <br /> Taylor in this capacity. Ms. Mason suggests the October meeting would be, a <br /> good one for any infieresfied members of the Library Committee to attend. <br /> New 5usinass: <br /> Kevin Connolly brings up the issue of maintaining a quorum at the building <br /> committee meetings. Mr. 61natian has resigned due to family obligations and <br /> others have commitments throughout the summer months. Six people are <br /> needed to provide a quorum and there have been a couple of meetings where this <br /> need has not been met. The Board agrees to move the meetings the second <br /> Tuesday of each month for the summer. This will also coincide with the Library <br /> Trustees meetings and will provide a better opportunity for a quorum to be met <br /> since several members are on both boards. As it stands now, Tuesday, July qth <br /> will be the next meeting for the FJailding Committee. <br />
