The format will follow that of <br /> a public forum. Torn asked for two volunteers''to'serge a hosts at-the forum. He also stressed the need for a catering kitchen t be included in the first floor <br /> floor plan, for special programs herd at the library, <br /> Sheldon Gilbert asked about possible problems that might occur with new c nstructionoin on o close <br /> g g <br /> to the existing library. Torn O'Neill noted that this situation currently exists adjacent to his office, and <br /> John Renz noted that the.same conditions exist in Mashpe Commons, with new building going on <br /> adjacent to existing structures. <br /> Helene Defoe suggested putting the staff room and toilets directly above the first floor plumbing, for <br /> practical maintenance purposes. Two or three rows of stacks would need to be relocated, but would <br /> allow for a larger meeting room, with dividers open. The catering kitchen should be located clear the <br /> air` <br /> meeting room. Also, each floor should have a mai tend closet. <br /> PRESENTATION To THE SELECTMEN. <br />- Bonnie Barrett felt that the presentation should not be scheduled until the committee is full prepared <br /> with a qualityproduct. The warrant is due ' - p p. <br /> l in early February 2004} the Town Meeting is in early May 2004. <br /> It would be advisable to have two to three weeps in between th. presentation and the warrant date in <br /> case any problems arise that creed to be resolved.
