Town o :1.Ylashpee <br /> �lerssncfausett,�0264) <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> SP-2017-60 <br /> George Pantazopoulos, Jr. Bk.#: 30731 <br /> 8 Cutlass Lane Page: #312 <br /> (Map 90 Parcel 68) <br /> Mashpee,MA 02649 <br /> A'Petition was filed on October 2, 2017 by Owner, George Pantazopoulos, Jr. <br /> requesting a Special Permit under§174-45.4 of the Zoning Bylaws for change in ownership <br /> of an existing pennitted accessory apartment on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, <br /> at 8 Cutlass Lane, (Map 90 Parcel 68),Mashpee,MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A.Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 13, 2017 and October 20,2017 a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of,Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout;Chairman,Jonathan Furbush,Vice Chairman, <br /> William Blaisdell,Board Members,Ron Bonvie,Dom DeBarros, and Associate Member, <br /> Sharon Sangeleer. <br /> Mr. Pantazopoulos represented himself for a Special Permit request of an existing <br /> permitted accessory apartment.He has owned the home for three months and currently has <br /> a permit to do some interior renovations to the apartment. He is not changing the design., <br /> but he said there are existing issues with the interior of the home that need to be brought <br /> up to current code requirements. <br /> The Board read the Board of Health, Conservation and Inspection Department <br /> comments into the record. The Board told the applicant that if he does any renovations, he <br /> must meet with the Building Department. <br /> In view of the foregoing,the Board determined the Petitioner met the criteria for a <br /> Special Permit. Upon motion duly made and seconded at the Public Hearings on <br /> Wednesday,November 8,2017,the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to issue <br /> a Special Permit for the existing permitted accessory apartment as conditioned under <br /> Section 174-45.4, specifically Item I, of the Town of Mashpee Zoning Bylaws. Also <br /> conditioned on all Town Department comments read into the record. <br /> I <br />
