McCadden <br /> requesting a Written Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for an addition <br /> and extension to an existing single-family dwelling on property located in an R-3 Zoning <br /> District, at 36 Riverside Road, (Map 119 Parcel 126), Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 10, 2017 and November 17, <br /> 2017 a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws, <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting.throughout; Acting Chairman, William Blaisdell, Board <br /> Members, Dom DeBarros, Scott Goldstein, and Associate Members, Brad Pittsley, and <br /> Sharon Sangeleer. Also present was Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza. <br /> Mr. James McCadden represented himself for the application.He said he is looking <br /> to add an addition on his lot. Mr. McCadden referred to the 5.3 ft.jog on the plot plan, and <br /> would like to square off the area, and add a bedroom above. <br /> Board Member, Mr. Goldstein asked if the area above the existing porch slab had <br /> a roof.above and if it was open. He also asked the applicant what the lot coverage was. He <br /> suggested that the applicant refer back to the engineer to add the existing and proposed <br /> figures on the plot plan. Mr. Goldstein also mentioned that the lot coverage should include <br /> the shed. He said; "if the shed is an issue with the lot coverage, you might want to remove <br /> it." <br /> 1 <br />
