Merritt Doc. #1318098 <br /> 115 Old Brickyard Road Ctf 4212489 <br /> (Map 72 Parcel 20) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on May 1,2017 by Owner,Lisa P.Merritt requesting a Written <br /> Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for demolition of two existing <br /> masonry porches and replace with wood porch and wood deck on property located in an <br /> R3 Zoning District, at 115 Old Brickyard Road, Map 72 Parcel 20, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A.Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on May 12,2017 and May 19, 2017 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, Vice Chairman., William Blaisdell, Board <br /> Members,Dorn DeBarros,and Scott Goldstein,and Associate Member,Brad Pittsley.Also <br /> present was Building Commissioner,Michael Mendoza. <br /> Lynn Dwane represented her sister Lisa for the application. Lisa is proposing to <br /> demo the existing old masonry porches and construct two wooden decks. She provided <br /> photographs of the two sections. Each deck has an entrance into the house. The deck that <br /> faces Old Brickyard Road will be replaced with a 7 ft. x 8 ft. deck. The other deck will be <br /> 8ft. x12ft. <br /> Chairman Furbush read the Conservation Department, Board of Health, and <br /> Inspection Department comments into the record. <br /> GENERAL CRITERIA: <br /> The subject property located at 115 Old Brickyard Road is approximately 12,500 <br /> square feet. <br /> There were no abutters present. <br /> 1 <br />
