MASHPEE <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> Minutes <br /> Wednesday, July 22, 1998 <br /> The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at 7:30 <br /> P.M. at the Mashpee Town Halt. Board members present were James E. Regan III, Vice <br /> Chairman; and Associate Members Robert G. Nelson, Richard T. Guerrera and James M. <br /> Dorgan. Board members absent were Edward M. Govoni, <br /> Chairman; Cheryl A. Hawver, <br /> Clerk; and Michael A. Makunas, Associate member. Building Inspector William F. Hauck <br /> was in attendance. <br /> L. Cl ig Hill TR. -Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zonin <br /> By-laws for the construction of a pier, ramp and float in Popponesset Bay on prope g <br /> 46, Black 24 <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 50 Popponesset Island Road (Map 1 <br /> Mashpee, MA. ) <br /> Members sitting; J. Regan, J. Dorgan, R. Nelson. <br /> John Slavinsky represented the applicant. The application has been approved by the <br /> Conservation Commission; Shellfish Warden Dick York and Harbor Master Perry Ellis. <br /> The applicant is staying underneath the 74 foot limit, No comments were received from <br /> abutters. <br /> Mr. Dorgan moved to grant the special permit subject to findings 1, 2, 5 of special permit. <br /> Mr. Nelson seconded. All agreed. <br /> Robert F. Mills - Requests a Special Permit under ,Section 174-20 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to demolish an existing structure and construct a single family dwelling on <br /> Property located in an R-5 zoning district at 131 Meetinghouse Road (Map 45, Block 8A) <br /> Mashpee, MA, (Owner of record: Helen L. and Laura Noyes). <br /> Members sitting: J. Regan,R. Guerrera, R. Nelson. <br /> Attorney Mills represented himself and explained that a trailer exists on the lot which the <br /> applicant wants to demolish to allow for the construction of a single family dwelling on the <br /> Property. He indicated that the proposed structure complies with the current zoning by- <br /> laws, <br />
