Board of Appeals Minutes - June 25, 1997 <br /> 5. <br /> Cookes-Mash ee Inc. -Request a Variance from Section 174-5513 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to have a back-lit building sign greater than 5% of the wall area on <br /> property located in a C-1 zoning district at 7 Ryan's Way (Map 67, Block 74)Mashpee, <br /> MA. (Owner of record: James G. Haidas TR.), <br /> Mr. Singer submitted a request to withdraw the application. Ms. Hawver moved to grant <br /> the withdrawal without prejudice. Mr. Guerrera seconded. All agreed. <br /> Bennett E Gordon-Mr.Gordon, representing TransFlow Energy, said he was requesting <br /> a minor modification to Special Permit 88-10-094 for a commercial building at 79 <br /> Industrial Drive (Map 88,Block 26). He said he wanted to add a 70' x 40' two story <br /> addition for light manufacturing and warehouse use. He would add 7 parking spaces and <br /> make the building handicapped accessible. He explained that Design Review has approved <br /> the plans. He said there is no change in use and the total building is under the allowed lot <br /> coverage and meets the setbacks. Mr. Hauck noted that the Special Permit was issued for <br /> the building and an addition in 1989 and in 1991 he added a part of the addition and this <br /> request is to complete the project. He said his configuration is slightly different. <br /> Mr. Makunas and Ms. Hawver both agreed that this was a minor modification, Mr. <br /> Makunas moved to grant as a minor modification referenced by plans dated May 23, 1997. <br /> Ms. Hawver seconded. Mr. Regan made the vote unanimous. <br /> Variance Extensions - The Board received requests for six-month extensions of Variances: <br /> Monogram Properties - 23 Spoondrift Way-Ms. Hawver moved to grant the extension. <br /> Mr. Regan seconded. Mr. Guerrera made the vote unanimous. <br /> Randy Bern- 10 Wheelhouse Lane -Ms. Hawver moved to grant the extension. Mr. <br /> Regan seconded. Mr. Makunas made the vote unanimous. <br /> Michel Yanoff- 18 Wheelhouse Lane -Mr. Regan moved to grant the extension. Mr. <br /> Nelson seconded. Mr. Guerrera made the vote unanimous. <br /> Edward Sie 'ed - The Board received a letter from Norman Hayes, engineer for Mr. <br /> Siegfried, requesting a minor modification of Special permit 96-72 to allow a 3' side deck <br /> to the swimming pool to improve safety conditions. Mr. Makunas moved to grant the <br /> minor modification, Ms. Hawver seconded and Mr. Regan made the vote unanimous. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M. <br /> Elinor Walsh <br />
