Trust/ Susan Fort TRS. -Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for the construction of a pier, ramp and float on property located in an R- <br /> 3 zoning district at 78 Spoondrift Way(Map 112, Block 43)Mashpee, MA, <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan, C. Hawver <br /> Engineer David Sanicki represented the applicant and reviewed plans for a proposed dock <br /> which has been approved by Conservation. He explained that Conservation has asked for <br /> some additional erosion control which is not involved in the application before the Board. <br /> The Harbormaster has approved the location. <br /> Ms. Hawver moved to grant the 32' Variance to allow for a 102' dock. Mr. Regan <br /> seconded. All agreed. Ms. Hawver moved to grant the Special permit under Section 174- <br /> 25.1.9. Mr. Regan seconded, All agreed. <br /> Howard Glaser-Requests a Variance from Sections 174-31 and 174-33 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to vary the front and side setback requirements and to allow <br /> construction of a single family home 36.5 feet from the edge of the wetlands on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 1 Tide Run (Map 126, Block 45)Mashpee, MA. <br /> (Owner of record: Christopher Burden TR.) <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan, C. Hawver <br /> Mr, Regan stated that this was a Chapter 112 hearing since taxes were owed on the <br /> property. <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the applicant and presented a plan of the lot with <br /> the layout of the proposed house. The plan also delineated the possible location of a <br /> house which would not require a variance. He explained that the Conservation <br /> Commission had approved the location of the house 35' from the wetlands instead of the <br /> 50' of the By-law. The applicant was also requesting a 5' variance in the sideline setback. <br /> Mr. Govoni said that the Board had received 50 letters in opposition to the application. <br /> He read a letter from the Director of Public Works opposing the granting of the front <br /> setback. He also read a letter from the Little Neck Bay Association opposing the <br /> application. Mr. Grotzke noted that the Little Neck Bay Association had misunderstood <br /> the dimensions of the Variances requested. <br />
