Town of Mashpee Board of Appeals Minutes Wednesday, January 24, 1996 The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members present and acting throughout were Edward M. Govoni, Chairman; James E. Regan, IIT, Clerk and Associate Member Kenneth E. Marsters. Members absent were: Cheryl A, Hawver, John J. Friel and Robert G. Nelson. Building Inspector William F. Hauck was in attendance. James M. „Lambert -Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a 38 foot ramp and float in Spoondrift Cove on property Iocated in an R-3 zoning district at 26 Spoondrift Circle(Map 111,Block 120) Mashpee, MA. Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan, K. Marsters Engineer David Sanicki represented the applicant and reviewed plans of an existing bulkhead with a new ramp and float which are now angled into Spoondrift Cove. He stated that Conservation has approved the plans. Mr. Govoni moved to grant the Special Permit and noted that the project had been approved by the Harbormaster and Shellfish Constable, Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. John J. Trotto - Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By- laws for permission to construct a 65 foot pier, ramp and float in Shoestring Bay on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 58 Quaker Run Road (Map 90, Block 47) Mashpee, MA. . Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Regan,K. Marsters Engineer J. Hunter represented the Applicant and informed the Board that the applicant had reduced the size of the pier from 104' to 65'. He said Conservation has continued the hearing awaiting a study by a marine biologist to study the marine sediments. Mr. Govoni explained that both the Shellfish Constable and the Harbormaster have approved the plans. Mr. Hunter said the biologist's study will be done soon. Mr. Govoni.moved to take the application under advisement awaiting comments from the Conservation Commission. Mr. Marsters seconded, All agreed. Andrew and Gloria A. Kariotis -Request a Variance from Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to exceed the 70 foot dock length limit to allow for the extension of an existing dock to 96 feet on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 67 Tide Run(Map 125, Block 25 1)Mashpee, MA.
