Semple and Doc. #: 1294623 <br /> Dianne Leroux, Trustees of the 43 Sakonnet Drive Ctf. #209541 <br /> 2016 Trust, Lots 1077, 1078, 1082, 1083 <br /> 43 Sakonnet Drive, (Map 72 Parcel 31) 1084, 1085 and 1086 on <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 Plan 11380-B (Sheet 7) <br /> A Petition was filed on July 5, 2016 by Douglas A. Semple requesting a Written <br /> Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning By-laws to allow for construction of a 486 sq. ft. <br /> addition and two roof canopies on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, (Map 72 <br /> Parcel 31), Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A.Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 15, 2016 and July 22, 2016 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, Vice Chairman, William Blaisdell, <br /> Board Members, Dom DeBarros, and Scott Goldstein, and Associate Members, Brad <br /> Pittsley and Norman J. Gould. <br /> Attorney Kirrane represented the homeowners for the proposed project. He <br /> provided the Board a narrative, photos, a site plan, and architectural plans depicting the <br /> modest renovation request that is located close to the John's Pond area of Mashpee. <br /> The plot plan depicts the existing residential structure which has a new section on <br /> the far side of the building that is currently open and unoccupied. Mr. Kirrane highlighted <br /> the area on the plan that will be removed and renovated within the footprint. When the <br /> renovation is complete, the alcove area will be enclosed. <br /> The subject property located at 14 Sakonnet Drive is approximately 28,650 square <br /> feet. <br /> There were no abutters present. <br /> 1 <br />
