The Zoning Board approved the house project earlier this year, and
he was told to file separately for the new dock. The plot plan he provided depicts the
existing fixed pier and the proposed ramp and float that was approved by the Conservation
Commission.
The embankment leading to the dock is very steep and is only accessible by a rope.
The proposed new stairs will be 4 x 4 post construction and set into the ground on the
upland side, and pilings set into the ground about 5 ft. below the mean high water with lag
bolts secured to the joists. The old shed will be replaced with a new shed in the same
location, and will be elevated about a foot and a half and bolted into the pilings.
1
