Larkin for a Special Permit SP-92-2 <br /> A. Petition was filed by Alan B. Larkin of Newton, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for an existing seasonal dock on John's Pond in an R-5 zoning district <br /> on property located at 15 Cranberry Ave. (Map 49, Blocks 132 and 133) <br /> Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Alan B. and Charna Larkin) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on December 20 and December 27, 1991, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, January 8, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: William J. Hanrahan, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. <br /> Govoni. <br /> Engineer David Sanicki represented the Petition and informed <br /> the Board that Mr. Larkin was licensing an existing dock and that <br /> waterways regulations now required a Special Permit. Mr. Govoni, <br /> an assistant harbormaster, confirmed that the dock had been at that <br /> location for several years. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on January 8, 1992 to grant the Special Permit. The <br /> Permit is referenced by plans No. 100191 of Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering dated October 1, 1991. <br />
