Mr. Friel explained that the applicant could apply <br /> for an extension of the hearing calendar. <br /> Eugenia Fortes - Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of <br /> the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the setback <br /> requirements in an R-3 zoning district on property located at <br /> 22 Quaker Run Road (Map 83 , Block 17 ) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, C. Hawver <br /> James Gill represented the applicant and explained that the <br /> lot had been owned for more than 30 years . He presented a <br /> letter from Wm. Hauck stating that it was a buildable lot with <br /> original zoning of 10 ' side line setback . He said the <br /> hardship was not self-imposed since the lot would not be <br /> buildable without a Variance . He said the shape and <br /> topography of the lot created a hardship. <br /> Mr. Friel moved to grant a 5 ' Variance in the side line <br /> setbacks due to the configuration of the land contours . Ms . <br /> Hawver seconded. All agreed.
