Board of Appeals Minutes - May 27, 1992 4 . <br /> Makunas advised him that his concerns should be addressed to <br /> the Planning Board and Town Meeting. Mr. Friel explained that <br /> the Board of Appeals is responsible to interpret the by-laws <br /> and the permit on this property was for the inside use of the <br /> building. Mr. Makunas informed Mr. Zammer that he can appeal <br /> the decision of the Building Inspector. <br /> Minutes - Mr. Govoni moved to accept the minutes of May 13, <br /> 1992 with a correction on page 1 . <br /> Applications - There was discussion of a request from the Town <br /> Clerk' s office requesting colored paper for applications. Mr. <br /> Friel mentioned using labels or inviting the Town Clerk to <br /> discuss the matter. <br /> Instructions for Applications to the Board of Appeals -Mr. Friel <br /> reviewed the instructions and stated he would like to provide <br /> for a waiver of plans in cases of hardship. It was agreed that <br /> a statement could be added that the Board would consider an <br /> application for a waiver. <br /> Mr. Friel asked to add to the instructions a request for photos <br /> in cases of expansion of nonconforming dwellings. <br /> Mr. Makunas suggested that applicants can request to come before <br /> the Board for preliminary discussion. Mr. Friel said applicants <br /> could review applications before filing. There was discussion <br /> that applicants could request a pre-application discussion. <br /> Abutters lists - Mr. Friel explained that some of the dock <br /> applications result in visual impact on properties more than <br /> 300 ' away. Mr. Makunas suggested that everything within 300 ' <br /> be included. <br /> Mr. Govoni moved to adjourn at 9;02 P.M. Mr. Makunas seconded. <br /> All agreed. <br /> Elinor Walsh <br />
