Discussion of Bylaws proposed b-Y Town Clerk continued ARTICLE I 150.5-B Pae 95). Motion: Edward Larkin motioned that the wording"Superintendent of Streets"be changed to "Director of Public Works". Andrew McManus seconded the motion. VOTE: 4-Yes. Unanimous. Andrew McManus -yes Edward Larkin—yes Paul Robillard—yes Deborah Dami—yes To remain unchanged CHAPTER 173 —Conservation Lands X173-3 (Page 120). Deb Dami asked if§173-3 —Violation and Penalties section is to be amended. Drew McManus confirmed it is not to be amended;this section is to remain. ACTION ITEMS: Deb Dami to do • In the Bylaw document ARTICLE V (Page 27) is erroneously labeled ARTICLE VI. Deb Dami will correct the document. • §5-30 (Page 28)...Debbie to check with Town Manager's office to determine that terms stated are accurate; some do not say how many members are to be appointed; scaler of weights now under the County; and Drew mentioned that Conservation has jurisdiction over trees on Conservation land or in wetlands areas; otherwise tree warden responsibility probably would be under DPW since they have the equipment and expertise needed in this area. Debbie said she will report on this at next Committee meeting. • CHAPTER 7 rv--Public Records—Debbie said now that Town using laser fiche for scanning, then language should be changed to reflect that. §79-3 (Page 53)...Debbie said she spoke with the animal control officer and under this section if Town picks up a dog the Town has to pay for 10 days confinement. State law allows to change to 7 days. Therefore Committee should look to considering changing to 7 days,rather than 10. • CHAPTER 100 (Page 64)...Deb going to check to be sure the handicapped parking language in this section is in compliance with handicap parking rules and regulations. • §150.5 (Page 95�—Temporary repairs on private ways...Deb to check with DPW on this section. Also, is 150.5-C to be deleted? Deb to ask for clarification on 150.7. 3
