Mr. <br /> Williams said a parent meeting will he held wiihin the next <br /> month regarding this issue. <br /> At this point, Mrs. Lynch rescinded her previous motion while <br /> Ms. Macdonald rescinded her second of that notion. <br /> .5 Internet Usage - Elementary Schools - Mr. MacDonald <br /> explained the "Internet Use Agreement for Elementary <br /> Students" as proposed by Computer specialist Carol <br /> I ottrldge. This Agreement would become a part of the policy <br /> manual therefore this policy will be voted upon at the April <br /> meeting. <br /> As suggested previously, the FY2000 budget discussion <br /> commenced. <br /> 7.8 FY2000Budget <br /> 7.8.1 Posting New Grade 12 Positions - A ter' discussion on <br /> the following Grade 12 positions, Mr. -MacDonald asked to <br /> have them posted and advertised subject to funding for the <br /> 1999--2000 school year: <br /> 1 - English Teacher <br /> 1 - Math 'T'eacher <br /> 1 - Science Teacher <br /> 1 - Social Studies Teacher <br /> 1 - Foreign Language Teacher <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by IIs. Macdonald, to <br /> post and advertise the above positions. <br /> OTE: Unani ous <br /> 7.8.2 LayoffNotices - Mr. MacDonald noted that if layoff <br /> notices are to be made, as per the teachers' contract, those <br /> employees "will be given written notification by May 15 or the <br /> conclusion of the May town meeting, whichever cones later, <br /> absent unusual circumstances." <br />
