MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING MARCH 17, 1999 <br /> PAGE THIRTEEN <br /> 1 .2. ersnrel��ornitte - Mr, actor has been <br /> .,.., no meeting,. ho vever, one. will be scheduled <br /> following the upcoming Minority Job Fair, <br /> 10-2.6 Boosters Club - Mrs. Lynch reported on the <br /> recent 'dance held at ino's and thanked Dino for <br /> his continued support to the Boosters Club, They <br /> provided refreshments at the Science Fair, Mr. <br /> Whinney provided each coach with mugs that were <br /> i f-p f tod and thanked him, lame sale <br /> participation ha.s taken place also. Mrs. Lynch <br /> said the Boosters need more community <br /> involvement. <br /> 1.0.2.7 Education Foundation - Mrs. Cook said a meeting <br /> ill be set in April. As mentioned previously in <br /> the meeting, a request for funding was made e for <br /> the Summer School. <br /> 10.2.8 Menu Advi or r --Council - FIs. Macdonald said <br /> there has not been a meeting. _ <br /> Xi. Other Mr. Paxton mentioned the Governor's school uniforms H <br /> questioned why the "school councils" are being mentioned in <br /> the nears rather than the "School-Committees?" <br /> Mrs. Lynch said a neer funding formula will be in place in July <br /> and Mhpee needs to speak out -in April to the Education' <br /> Committee when- they visit the Cape. She stressed that <br /> although l lashpee is "land rich" it is not "financially rich." <br /> XJI, ]Executive Motion made by Mr. Paton, seconded by Ms. Macdonald to <br /> Session move into executive session to discuss negotiations at 9:35 <br /> P.M. <br /> Roll Call Note: In favor - Mrs. Cook-, Mr. Paxton, Ms. <br /> Macdonald, Mrs. Lynch, and Mrs. Mills; opposed - none.. <br />
