MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR MEETING,-- OCTOBER 13, 1999 PAGE <br /> Motion made by Ms. Macdonald to nominate Mr. Paxton as the <br /> alternate voting delegate. Motion seconded by Mrs. Cook. <br /> VOTE: Unarfimous <br /> .2 lion Bock Dedication - Mrs. Cook addressed this issue <br /> stating the gymnasium at Mashpee High School will be dedicated to <br /> Mashpee's first Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Ron Bock <br /> on Sunday, December 5, 1999. There currently is a time conflict <br /> 5 <br /> with the Falmouth Christmas Parade (1:00 p.m.) and the Cape-Cod <br /> Ballet performance to be held at the High School that sane <br /> evening. The Committee felt that perhaps 3:00 p.rp. would be more <br /> accommodating. 11 r . Cook will attend the next meeting to air <br /> concerns. There i "charge of$825 for the bronze plaque. This <br /> topic will be voted upon at the November meeting. Also, the <br /> Committee wiU donate $100 towards refreshments. <br /> X. Committee Reports 10.1 Sub-Committee Reports <br /> 10.1.1 Negotiations -- Mrs. Lynch this will be discussed in <br /> executive session. <br /> 10.1.2 iiiehool - IIs. Macdonald said there has been n <br /> meeting. <br /> 10.1. Elementga School - Mrs. Cook said the kindergarten report <br /> cards were voted on at the October 4th special meeting. <br /> However, music lessons need to be addressed. <br /> 10.1.4 Curriculum - Ms. Macdonald said there has been no <br /> meeting. <br /> 10. . External lie ort <br /> 10.2.1 CaRe Cod Collaborative -- 11r. Flurry said he had attended <br /> the Annual visitation Day on October 6th. <br /> 10.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. Cook motel Mr. Kevin Tr ill's <br /> appointment as the liaison between the School Committee <br /> and the Leisure Services Advisory Council. Also, she said <br /> otoberfest was a huge success this year. The Leisure <br /> Services high School office location needs to be addressed. <br /> 10.2.3 Le 'slation- No report this evening. <br /> 10.2.4Safe Transportation Task Force - Mrs. Lynch reported o <br /> the meeting held October 26th. <br /> 10.2.5 Personnel Committee - Mr. Paxton said there has been no <br /> meeting. will meet on an `gas-needed" basis. <br /> 10.2.6 Boosters Club - Mrs. Cook reported on the Post Prom Party <br /> Committee. <br />
