MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE- REGULAR MEETING - NOVEMBER,8, 1999 PAGE <br /> 7.11 1999-2000 School,.Calendar - Because of several date <br /> discrepancies with "Progress Reports Issued", "Terni Ends", <br /> and "Report Cards Issued," new dates had been discussed <br /> with the Administrators. lir. Pluery discussed concerns <br /> regarding balancing the number of days in each quarter and <br /> time at the high school. <br /> The new dates are as follows-, <br /> "Progress Reports Issued": <br /> 1st Term Warnings (Grades 1-12) - October 12 (remains the <br /> same) <br /> 2ndTerm warnings (Grades 1-1 2) -- December 13 <br /> 3rd Term Warnings (Grades 1-12) - March <br /> 4th'Term Warnings (Grades 1-1 2) - May 1 <br /> "Terre Ends"; <br /> 1st Terre (Grades 1--12) -- November 5 (remains the same) <br /> 2nd Term (Grades 1-1 2) --January 21 <br /> 3rdTerm (Grades 1-1 2) - April <br /> 4thTerm (Grades 1-12) - June 20 <br /> "Report Cards Issued": <br /> 1st Terni {Grades 1-12) - November (elementary only) <br /> November 1 (high school.only) <br /> 2nd Term (Grades 1-12) -January 31 <br /> 3rd Terre (Grades 1-12) -April 12 <br /> Motion made by Ms. Macdonald, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to <br /> approve the date changes as noted above on the revised <br /> 1999--2000 school year calendar. <br /> NOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7,12 Superintendent's Office Reorganization, Receptionist - <br /> Mr. Fluery presented the need for hiring a receptionist in the <br /> Superintendent's office. This person would be in addition to <br /> the current number of employees in the office. The Business <br /> office would be relocated to B103, the receptionist would be <br /> in B 104 with the Network Administrator. <br /> Discussion followed on costs that would be incurred to do <br /> the moving of offices. Mrs. cook requested a cost analysi <br /> before moving further on this issue. Mrs. Mills said, "The <br /> $500,000 should go towards lids"' and requested an <br /> organizational chart of the Superintendent's office. <br /> 7.13 Cleaning Supervisor Job 'Description - Mrs. Cook <br /> recuse herself prior to the discussion of this issue. <br />
