Poligy.ReRarding."Use of Facilities by Non-Profit Organizations <br /> for the Direct Benefit f Mashme Students <br /> Motion made by Mrs. MacDonald to adopt a policy to read as follows: <br /> Mashpee Schools will defer to its budget normal charges made o non- <br /> profit organizations, when the facility is used for the sole purpose of a <br /> "Fund Raising Event"'which directly benefits the students of <br /> Mashpee. The organization would be required to schedule and <br /> receive approval from the appropriate principals . <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Paxton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> The School Committee agreed to rernit a memorandum to the "Boosters <br /> Club" with re ards+to the above policy relative to Use of Facilities. <br /> Authorization to Transfer Funds <br /> Motion made by fir. Paxton to transfer from available funds in the <br /> Crossing Guard Account, the sum of$1,000 to be placed in the <br /> Custodial overtime Account. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Mills. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Mrs, Cook abstained. <br /> Budget Transfers: <br /> Correspondence was received from Russ McGo rn, Business <br /> Administrator dated November 22, 1999 relative to the High School <br /> principal's request to transfer funds for the purpose of purchasing <br /> additional microscopes. <br /> It is the consensus of the Committee to defer approval until further <br /> clarification is received relative to the future purchase of HS Science <br /> Textbooks. <br />
