MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR MEETING --- FEBRUARY 2, 2000 FAGS <br /> 10.2.2 Leisure services - Mrs. Mills reported a meeting was held <br /> and discussion focused on the grants and winter programs. <br /> 10.2.3 Legislation - Mrs. Lynch reported that the Department of <br /> Education has fired Advanced Systems from New Hampshire <br /> regarding thee- role in the MCAS tests. <br /> 10.2.4 Safe Trans ortation Task Force - Mrs. Lynch said no meeting <br /> has been held but a meeting date needs to be established. <br /> 10.2.5 Personnel Committee - Mr. Paxton said there has been no <br /> meeting however Mr. Fluery X11 attend ars Affirmative ctioxr <br /> Committee meeting on Februa y 3rd. <br /> 10.2.6 Boosters Club - Mrs. Cook attended a meeting where the <br /> broadcast booth at the high school field was discussed. Also, <br /> money has' been raised at the basketball games; a $2,000 <br /> scholarship for a boar and girl ($1,000 to each); and $500 <br /> the Ron Bock Memorial Scholarship fund. <br /> 10.2.7 Education Foundation - Mr. Fluery met with ]fir. Elizabeth <br /> etti regarding the recent meeting where the Education <br /> Foundation by-laws were discussed regaidin'g School <br /> Committee representation. <br /> 10.2.8 Menu -AdvisoLy Council - M s. Macdonald s aid a meeting <br /> needs to be set. <br /> Mrs. Lynch also reported on the Music Committee meeting that she <br /> and Mrs. Mills attended on January 27th. At - the meeting <br /> . <br /> disc ssion focused on homer to provide music lessons to the students <br /> without having all different pull-outs and all different times-for the <br /> teachers. . <br /> XI, other Mrs. Lynch addressed the letter fro-m the Torn Clerk Debbie Ii <br /> regarding the use of the school facilities for town elections.- Mr. <br /> Tippo and Mrs. Doyle will coordinate with Mrs. f ami. <br /> XII. Ex6cutive Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cook, to more into <br /> Session executive session at 10:28 p.m. to discuss negotiations. <br /> Roll Call Note: Ire favor - Mrs. Lynch,-Mrs. Mills.' Nis. Macdonald, <br /> Mrs. Cook, and Mr. Paxton; opposed- none. <br />
