2 <br /> Environmental Oversight Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> April 10, 2008 <br /> Present: Don Myers,Ed Baker, Ted Theis, Beverly Kane, Richard York <br /> Absent: Ralph Marcelli <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Myers at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room 41 <br /> MINUTES: <br /> October 11, 2008: <br /> February 14, 2008: <br /> Minutes amended on page five under Santuit Pond second paragraph, first <br /> sentence to read: It was agreed the EOC would request the Mashpee <br /> Cable and Advanced Technology Board (MCAT)to fund one automated <br /> water quality parameter measuring device for Santuit Pond. <br /> March 13, 2008: <br /> Minutes amended on page three under Mashpee River Dredging. Last <br /> sentence to read: In early 1995 a petition was presented to the Board of <br /> Selectmen in an attempt to address problems with navigation and shellfish <br /> closures and odor issues. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Baker to approve the above referenced minutes <br /> as amended. <br /> Motion seconded by Ms. Kane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> Agenda Topic—Santuit Pond Water Quality RFP—Ed Eichner: <br /> The above referenced agenda topic under New Business has been <br /> cancelled. With the recent reorganization of the Cape Cod Commission, <br /> the position held by W. Eichner has been eliminated. <br />
