Report of the <br /> Superintendent 7.9.1 H, h School Graduation Waiver of <br /> (continued) Motion made by Mrs. Cook to approve the following <br /> Waiver Policy- A student who transfers into 1 lashpee High <br /> School as a junior or senior will be required to earn all <br /> credits as established at the time of enrollment. Any <br /> student entering, particularly after the beginning of the <br /> school year, may not be able to fulfill all graduation <br /> requirements. Students who require additional credits to <br /> graduate may attend summer school or another approved <br /> alternative (tutoring, evening classes, etc.)to meet <br /> requirements. Under special circumstances, the building <br /> principal may waive up to one (I).cr -dit as he deems <br /> necessary. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr's. Macdonald. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7.10 2000-2001 School Calendar <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Cook to accept the Mashpoe Public <br /> School s School Calendar for Zoo -'200 1 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Mills. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7.11 Summer School The issue was tabled until the next <br /> scheduled meeting. <br /> 7.12 Early 1elease Dates—June 19, 20, June 11, 2000 <br /> The early release dates for elementary students only were <br /> considered. It was noted that it is a cost-effective approach <br /> to the reorganization process. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Paxton to approve the Early Release <br /> dates of June 191, 20, 2 1, Zoo as presented. <br /> -Motion seconded by Mrs. Macdonald. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7.13 Ice Hock The minutes of the High School Sub- <br /> Committee meeting dated 4/12/000 relative to the <br /> discussion of hockey was reviewed. It was determined that <br /> due to the newness of the high school's athletic progrram, a <br /> policy for the addition of neer sports shall be considered <br /> when a program of sports offerings, in line vitt other <br /> schools has been established. <br />
