MA HPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING MAY 145 2001 Minutes Attendees: Chairperson Janice Mills, Theresa Cook, D nnaJ an Lopez, Ben Caswell, and Mollie leis. Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools Sherwood Flu ry, outgoing Business Administrator Russ McCown and new Business Administrator Michael Tarl w. Mrs. Mills called the special meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. in the Superintendent's office located in the Quashnet School. Discussion followed regarding the issues listed below: 1. The cost of the high school air conditioner and its funding. Funds were transferred from the high school quipment acquisition totaling$4,901.01. . VOTE, Unanimous Mrs. Cook recused herself at this point before discussions regarding First Student. Fiat Student is being charged "large amounts of money" for parking at their Falmouth location, therefore they have relocated to Sandwich. The dispatcher is temporarily working out of the Mashpee Superintendent's office. Discussion on payment of excise tax by First Student Mrs. Cook returned to the meeting. School I unc h increased still ire deficit--estimated at$21,000 instead of$3 5 3000. Use unspent funds from the previous year to bring the lunch revenue tip. Funds to be used from the revolving cafeteria account encumbered from projected expenses of 2001.
