<br /> Attendees: Chairwoman Theresa Cook, Ben Caswell, DonnaJean Lopez,Janice Mills,and Mollie Reis. Also in attendance
<br /> were Superintendent of Schools Sherwood Flu ry and Business Administrator Michael Tarlow. representatives from 1._.1nit
<br /> A also in attendance were Michael Persico and Sheryl Obuchon.
<br /> Mrs. Cook called the first executive session to order at 6:35 p.m, in the Quashnet School Library,
<br /> The first issue discussed was the MHS#0103 grievance, M r. Fluery outlined the grievance. Mrs. 0 buck n spoke on behalf
<br /> f the grievant. After her presentation,the School Committee took no action,therefore,the grievance remains denied.
<br /> Mrs, Obuchon and Mr. Persico departed the executive session.
<br /> Other issues discussed at the executive session were as follows:
<br /> • Status of Jairo Oliveira issue
<br /> • r. Flury discussed the,football field situation at the high school.
<br /> • r. Tarlw discussed the food service program. He recommended a Food Service Director'ssalary for the
<br /> 2001-2002 school year of$45,000 and an Assistant Director/High School Cafeteria.Manager's salary of
<br /> $35,000.
<br /> Motion made by Mrs.Mills, seconded by Mrs. Lopez,to discuss Mr. Tarlow's salary recommendations.
<br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs. Cook, Mr.Caswell Mrs, Lopez,Mrs. Mills, and Mrs. Reis; opposed—none.
<br /> After discussion, a motion was made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Reis,,to set the food Service
<br /> Director's salary for the 2001-2002 school year at$45,000.
<br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs. Cook,Mr. Caswell, Mrs. Lopez, Mrs. Mills,and Mrs. Deis; opposed—none.
<br /> • r. Flu ry recommended the School Facilities Supervisor's 2001-2002 school year salary at$45,000.
<br /> Motion made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. Lopez,for Mr. Flury to negotiate a School Facilities
<br /> Supervisor salary of$45,000 for the 2001-2002 school year.

<br /> Motion made by Mrs. Lopez,seconded by Mrs. Deis, to move out of executive session at 7:10 p.m.

<br /> Per the Unit C contract, implementation of time clocks for summer employees.
<br /> • Unit A—Larly Retirem ent Incentive due to the Superintendent by January 1,2002. A rem inder letter will be
<br /> sent to Unit A staff.
<br /> Mrs. Cook recused herself at 10:15 p.m.
