Mashpee Planning and Construction Committee Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday, March S, 2018 Mashpee Town Hall--Ockway Meeting Room Committee Members Present: Steve Cook and Tom O'Neill;Joe Brait by telephone Absent: Geoff Gorman Also Present: Catherine Laurent, DPW Chairman Steve Cook called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m. Approval of Minutes Tom O'Neill motioned to accept the minutes of the Meeting of January 25, 2018 as written; and Steve Cook seconded the motion. Vote: 3 Yes; Unanimous. Steve Cook, yes. Tom O'Neill,yes. Joe Brait,yes. Old Business Update on_Qu_ashnet School Window/Roof Project Catherine Laurent provided an outline of construction schedule from the general contractor. The asbestos abatement in the mastic for the floor tile was completed over February vacation. The contractor will mobilize starting April 91h and work on Phase 1A will begin on April 16th. The date for start of the power washing will have to be coordinated to avoid delay on Phase 1A. The contractor had proposed to start on Friday, April 13th but work cannot occur during the school day. Substantial completion of the project is anticipated on or around December 71h. Catherine Laurent provided a summary of the Proposal Requests which have been issued to date- PROOJ., PR002, PR004, and PR005. Response from the contractor is still pending. New Business Payment of Invoices Steve Cook presented 2 invoices being submitted for payment: exPertcon, Inc for$14,340.00; and Raymond Design for$1.1.,41.8.40; for a total amounting to $25,758.40.
