Call Meeting to Order - Mrs. Mills called the finance meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. in <br /> the Office of the Superintendent in the Quashn'et School. <br /> 2. Business Administrator's Monthly Report—Mr. Tarlw updated the Committee on the <br /> implementation of the MINIS system. Also included in his report was an update of <br /> grants submitted by Mrs. Marcia Ding as well as the monthly school lurch program. :. <br /> FY04 Capital Improvement Plan — Pursuant to a request from the Town Administrator <br /> regarding capital improvement plans for the upcoming year, Mr. Tarl w described the <br /> FY04 plan as follows- <br /> School Security] $ 85,300 <br /> Floor Covering I 25,000 <br /> Coombs School Gyri Ceiling $ 25X0 <br /> Computers II $ 79,200 <br /> Copiers 1.1 165 <br /> Copiers 1 165 <br /> Wheelchair flan Lease/Purchase - - ,5407 <br /> FY04 Total Request S 283 037 <br /> After discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to <br /> approve the FY04 capital improvement plan. <br /> VOTE: 'Unanimous <br /> . FY04 Preliminary Draft Budget — Mr. Tarl w addressed a "very preliminaryoutline" <br /> f the FY04 budget with actual detailed lire item budgets still being prepared. Per <br /> Committee instruction,, the first draft of the FY04 budget reflects a level service <br /> approach. <br /> . Ratification of Custodial Agreement, 2002-2005 — Motion made by Mr. Caswell, <br /> seconded by Mrs. Reis, to approve the Custodial Agreement effective July 1, 2002 and <br /> expiring June 30, 2005. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> .
